Workout Part 2

Who tried something new after reading my last blog? I love seeing what you do so post your workout pictures with the hashtag #grandmaswithmuscles and I’ll take a look!

Today I have a few more exercises for you, I’m excited to share them with you!  If you missed the first workouts I posted you can find them here.  Also, before viewing the videos or taking part in any of the workouts, please read this disclaimer for a few useful thoughts and explanations.

Ok, are you ready?! We’re going to use the ball again for legs and core… you’ll feel this one!

Next we’re going to use my favorite piece of equipment, the Bosu ball. This is great for so many things!

Now we’re going to row – this is an amazing exercise!

  1. Great info, I will incorporate these into my regimen after the summer months. I love the tools! The balance on the ball makes so much sense in strengthening your core. I can see you doing an exercise dvd series. Girl, you got guns! Thanks for this. I am passionate about working out.

    We met and spoke briefly in Nov. 2012, @ Bethel prior to a service, concerning my youngest son (Isaac a very skilled athlete), who is battling a condition of bone growths (osteochonromas) all over his body. Isaac has since had surgery # 2 & #3. Looking at yet #4 as we seek Papa’s wisdom. That November, You shared more how Eric’s Journey contending for his healing developed special traits in him and how others were drawn to him.Those 15ish minutes have continued to be a source of encouragement. So thank you.

    As for these workouts, hey really your whole journey which I have followed these past 4-5 years, thank you!

    My husband and I (senior pastor & I along side him) and our church, are coming out if the most difficult 2+ years in our 18 yrs of pastoring here. A year ago my world was turned upside down….many disillusionments, which The Lord is healing and gradually walking me out of. In this time, many responsibilities were added and I needed to substitute teach in our local public schools. Stress has increased with the three teenagers in the house discovering their unique journeys. Plus our youngest son pursuing his big dreams while contending for healing.

    The result, my body was increasing in weight and I could not find time or energy to exercise. When I could walk it was not working for me as it had for 4+ years before. I have ad a strong hunch for some time that lifting weights is what my body needs. So I have slowly started.
    Finding your blog is exciting to me because it already has a feel of community for me. Like finding some not only like-minded, but especially like-spirited friends to make this journey with to health and whole ness.

  4. I appreciate the Ball video as a place I can start.
    I have a workout that asked me to do a curl in push up position and toes on the ball. I fell off several times. So as I won’t give up on that one eventually…for today I did your example to simply keep working on my core. Little by little; step by step.
